Weaning the "Women's Empowerment Bracelet”, Reese claimed, "I strongly support the efforts of Avon and UNIFEM to put an end to" violence against women, "Every purchase of the bracelet will help empower women: 100 percent of the profits will go directly to the Avon Empowerment Fund to support UNIFEM in their work to end violence against women. Running is a very healing, meditative thing, so maybe it will work its magic on them." They also were spotted at Niketown Beverly Hills, where the actress took a pair of Nike Air Zoom Vomero shoes. "She took them for a demo on the treadmill on the second floor and loved them." A pal close to Reese says, "Reese and Ryan are trying to work it out. They are still close."

Reese Witherspoon will be the new face of Avon. The actress has been chosen as the cosmetic brand’s first-ever global ambassador. Reese will serve as honorary chairman of the Avon Foundation, which aims to raise awareness in different matters, including breast cancer, domestic violence and emergency relief. She will also be a spokeswoman for Avon Products Inc.'s beauty brands and sales representatives, according to reports.  "I'm very excited about working with the Avon Foundation, with many different aspects of it," Witherspoon said at a media conference. "First and foremost, breast cancer research and awareness, programs that they're working on. Someone very close to me is a breast-cancer survivor. It's a cause that's very close to my heart." I feel like Avon is amazing to create these opportunities for women to create incomes for their families" ."I was even talking to my mother this morning and we were talking about who was our Avon representative when we were growing up and she was like, `Dolores, of course!'"

Reese Witherspoon will star and co-produce a remake of the classic 1939 romantic comedy "Midnight,” according to Daily Variety. The story is about Reese's character who was, in the original version, an American showgirl in Paris enlisted by a married man to rescue his wife of a gigolo, while meanwhile pretending to be a baroness.
